Optional Features
Makeup Reservoir
You can use these reservoirs with any spring return shock absorber, specifically those used in higher cycle applications, to automatically replenish oil lost during normal operation. Use the .25oz design with 3/4" Series A model and the standard 2.5oz with any Series S model and the Series A 1-1/8", 1-1/2", and 2" models.
Safety Chains
These chains are recommended with any shocks used with crane operation. They meet the OSHA and AISE specifications.
Internal Stop
Used for extremely dirty operating conditions where dirt and grit is liable to be pounded into the gland retainer by the bumper. Add the RR dimension found in the catalog to accommodate for the extra length. Internal stops are standard in the Heavy Duty Series H models and the 3/4" and 2" bore Adjustable Series A models.
High Temperature Operation
A special viton/silicone seal package and a high temperature fluid is recommended if your shock is going to see an above average cycle rate or is operating in a high temperature environment.
